I suppose I wanted to highlight how very few task apps get the simple and complex right in the one package, hence why the interest in new task apps on Blackberry app world The one thing I do realise, is how influential my Blackberry is in determining what I prefer to use. I'd love there to be a blend of my simple and dependent lists Attachment 370184 I don't use all the above, all the time, but like my Blackberries, will use each app as necessary. Tasks with Dependencies (Research Topic A) - Toodledo via Ultimate To Do or Desktop appīig overview planning. Though Ultimate To do is the best of the Toodledo clients, it never feels a joy to wade through the lists like Todoist.ĭay to day reminders (4pm pay bill) - Calendar + Hub++ What normally breaks my interest in a todo app is how they deal with large lists, hence why I always seem to lean towards Kanban (think Trello) style interfaces. I don't use it for collaborative work.įor my needs I take navigating tasks as the key criteria. ![]() These could be premium subscription options. I'm positive Toodledo does the email tasks and if I recall correctly, sharing options. If I wasn't so married to BlackBerry, it'd be my preferred catch all account. What's good about Todoist is that the user interface is functional and presents well. It is such a powerful backend but so unpleasant to look at but Toodledo has everything. When I get into stuff with Parent/Child dependencies then it's the Toodledo engine via Ultimate To Do or a 3rd party Desktop app. Todoist Android/ios and Swipes are similar but add all that category, tag stuff which is not always needed when you want a good, quick, easy list (such as a packing list before a trip). I use LazyList for the simple stuff, because I prefer the swipe interface for quick one handed use. Posted via CB10 on my PassportI haven't seen ToDoMatrix before but I can relate to your setup Also using a combo of Remember (for reminders via voice assistant but I've since replaced that with the Calendar entries since I can use HUB++ to set off the LED when the event reminder pops up. I look forward to seeing your new app and, who knows, I may be able to consolidate all my stuff again in the one place! There were many great features which I have now forgotten since it is well over 2 years since I've used it! Ability to defer reminders to any time in the future Ability to create a new task directly from an email Ability to save documents as PDFs locally and then print off Ability to create and edit in the cloud These were some of the most appealing aspects of it: Now, if you could recreate the functionality of ToDoMatrix that would be fantastic.! It is a very unsatisfactory arrangement but one I have come to live with. So, since moving to BB10, all the info that I had stored in ToDoMatrix had had to be divided up between 3 apps - Remember, Slick Tasks and Ultimate ToDo List. It was made by a company called REXwireless who, unfortunately, decided not to support BB10. I used to have a wonderful app on my old Curve called ToDo Matrix. It's important to me to address both groups: experienced ToDoIst users and new one! ![]() Please explain to me why you want to participate and if you are an existing ToDoIst user, or if you're new to the service. ![]() If you want to participate in the beta, that will start soon, please let me know by a personal message here in the board or on BBM. No matter how good my BlackBerry keyboard is, virtual or physical, I'm writing faster on a real keyboard. For me it's really important to manage all my tasks cross-platform. So you can access it everywhere, not just on your BlackBerry, but also on your PC or Mac and other mobile devices. If you don't know what ToDoIst is about, it's one of the most popular todo management services, available for multiple devices and platforms. I'm currently working hard to bring a native ToDoIst app to our beloved BlackBerry 10 platform! For that reason I'm in the hunt for a few beta testers.
